Dear Agape Flights Prayer Force,
It’s hard to fully express what this addition of the Agape prayer alert means to me. Since the heartbreaking events of February 5, 2026, and the tremendous loss of two faithful servants of the Lord, Patrick Decker and Kory Elleby, my heart has remained in constant prayer. In moments like these, when grief feels heavy and words seem inadequate, I’ve encouraged our Agape staff with a simple reminder: when you don’t have the words to pray, pray Scripture. Let God’s Word carry you when your own words fall short.
For example:
Isaiah 54:10
“Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed,” says the Lord, who has compassion on you.
Loving and powerful God, at times my world seems to be shaking around me like an earthquake. Replace my fear with the knowledge that neither shaken mountains nor flattened hills can take me away from your unfailing love. Thank you for the promise of your peace and compassion. I choose to rest in you. In the name of the risen Christ, Amen.
Psalm 42:11
Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God.
Psalm 62:5-7
Yes, my soul, find rest in God; my hope comes from him. Truly, he is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will not be shaken. My salvation and my honor depend on God; he is my mighty rock, my refuge.
Here’s how you can pray specifically for Agape Flights this month.
- Pray that Christ will be honored and lifted high at the Celebration of Life Service on Saturday, March 21, 2026, 3 pm, at Venice Presbyterian Church.
- Continue to pray for Patrick and Kory’s wives and their families.
- Continue to pray for the Agape Flights Board of Directors, the Agape Staff and Volunteer Crew, our Missionary Affiliates, and the entire Agape Flights family as we walk together through this challenge.
- Pray for us as we resume flight operations. Pray for our Director of Flight Operations, Greg Haman and our Pilot crew.
- Pray for us as we make plans to press on with the building of a new aircraft hangar to expand the work God has called and assigned us with.
- As always, pray for our Mission Partners especially throughout the nation of Haiti. Conditions continue to grow more challenging by the day. They need us to bombard Heaven by interceding on their behalf.
We are deeply grateful to each of you who have continued to stand with us in prayer, and we especially appreciate everyone who has scheduled visits during this time. Your presence, support, and faith mean more than we can say.
We press on, but we press on in prayer knowing that our hope and our confidence come from Christ!
I appreciate you, thank you for your prayers!
